Nov.6th and Nov.7th
Saturday night we went to the Grand Ole Opry, our front end staffer at the KOA got us tickets ...front row center so cool. The show was 21/2 hours mostly older country stars. Some of them were Little Jimmy Dickens, Point of Grace, George Hamilton IV, Riders in the Sky and Montgomery Gentry, and many more. The show was at the Ryman Theater, the original setting ; due to the flooding here last May. The river flooded so many places , the Opry hotel, Theater, Convention center and the Mall right beside the Hotel had over six feet of water inside, major Reno's! These places will finally open in about a week, the mall may not reopen at all. Sunday we went to church and then went back downtown just to wander around. We decided to walk the the Country Stars walk of Fame and check out the Stars in the side walk. We were surprised to see a huge crowd and then found out the was an induction service going on today so we stayed and watched that for awhile. Those getting stars today were Little Jimmy Dickens, Mel Tillis, Kris Kristofferson, Eddy Arnold, Rascal Flats and Bobby Hebb this was a nice exrta for us.
