Friday October 1st  after breakfast we walked for three hours around the old town. At 1:45 we were picked up for our tour a three hour tour all over the area, we went to Cape Spears- most easterly point in north America, Signal hill- place were Marconi sent the first wireless message to England ( boy that has come a long way) Quidi Vidi- old fishing village , Peddy Harbor- real pretty little harbor Cabot Tower and all around the old town , a very informative tour of course according to our guide everything good started in New Found land. We we returned we walked another 1 1/2 hours to the liquor store for Neffie shreech we had been told we had to drink shreech and kiss the cod... well did not see any cod looking to be kissed so next best thing have cod tongue  so at dinner we tried the cod tongue appetizer... kind of like squid.
